Terms and Conditions
The terms “we,” “us,” and “Company” refers to Amsterhome Holiday Apartments, and “you” refers to the customer booking a reservation directly through this website, or indirectly through any of our operators through whom we share our products and services. All reservations you book with us are subject to the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
All apartment reservations that you book from our site are handled directly by the owners listed in our directory, which are known to us as reputable and reliable bed and breakfast or short-stay holders with an excellent standard of quality and service. However, we do not accept any liability, should problems occur in connection with any of these companies. The following Policies apply when booking from our site:
YOUR WARRANTIES TO US
You warrant that you are at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this website and/or our services in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this website as well as for the use of your name and credit card account to pay for products and services purchased at this website by members of your household, including minors living with you. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household in using this website is true and accurate.
1.- For apartment reservations a non-refundable Service fee is applicable in addition to the room rate and country taxes (5%).
2.- When you book a room with Amsterhome.com, we are allowed to charge your credit card or receive other form of down payment for the 15% (excluding VAT of 19%) of the amount through our International payment Processors. This amount initiates as a down payment of your reservation. The remaining amount will be payed upon your arrival.
3.- All incoming reservations will be processed immediately through our system.
4.- We will contact the customer by phone or email ONLY if there is NO availability or to search for other equivalent or better lodging options.
Once payment notification is received, the customer receives an email confirmation with his/her unique Booking Confirmation, This email confirmation is the customer's receipt of payment and represents an ELECTRONIC CONFIRMED RESERVATION.
*Email Booking Confirmations must be printed and presented with a photo ID at the Apartment upon check-in.
ACCOMMODATION & RATES
1.- Bed type and smoking preferences are not guaranteed.
2.- Room pictures may differ from the actual room you receive.
4.- Rates are subject to change and update without notice. Nevertheless, if we change a rate and notice that your reservation was made with a different rate, we will notify you immediately. We don’t take responsibility for incorrect rates or dates. Outdated rates are invalid.
Payment can be carried out through the following methods:
1.- Credit Cards - We currently accept American Express, Visa, Discover and Mastercard through paypal and moneybookers.
2.- Reservations placed by selecting off-line Payment methods including Bank Wire Transfers, you'll be prompted to follow our payment procedures which will be provided by a representative agent by Phone or email.
All payments should be made out to Amsterhome Holiday Apartments.
If you do not show up on your arrival date and have failed to inform us that you wish to cancel your booking, this is meant as No Show.
No refunds will be made for no-shows or early checkouts.
1.- Your reservation may be or cancelled at 48 hours prior the check in time, subject to a one night cancellation fee. In addition, if you do not cancel or change your reservation before our cancellation policy period, you will be subject to a charge of one-night's room rate, tax charges and service fees. Cancellations or changes made after check-in are subject to a 100 percent penalty.
2.- We will accept any cancellations made through other agencies. If you cancel through other services and do not cancel through Amsterhome.com there will be a full down payment refund in case the cancellation has been informed within 48 hours prior the checkin time. Possible refunds may take up to 4 weeks.
3.- After cancelling a reservation we will send you an email notification of such cancellation and refund the amount of the reservation
4.- We do not take any responsibility for cancellation fees resulting out of reservations which need to be cancelled due to the fact that a customer sent it "by mistake" or with wrong dates or information.
No contract will exist between you and the Company or its affiliates for the sale by us to you of any product or service unless and until the Company accepts your reservation by an email confirming your reservation and issuing you a unique Booking Confirmation. Acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed to be effectively communicated to you for all purposes at the time that the Company sends the email to the email address you provide in your reservation form, whether or not you receive the email.
You communicate with the Company electronically whenever you visit the Amsterhome.com website or send emails to us. You consent to receive communications from the Company electronically and by phone. You agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements and other communications that we provide to you electronically or by phone satisfy any legal requirements that communications be made in writing.
By proceeding with this reservation, you agree to all terms and conditions. Please note that we may, in our sole discretion, revise our terms and conditions of use at any time; all such revisions shall be effective when posted. We encourage you to periodically review this page in order to keep apprised of our current terms.
